Developments over Syria and the effectiveness of diplomacy as a means of resolving a conflict situation.

The key thing here is to try to balance the situation in such a way that diplomacy can have the greatest effect, and not to miss the moment and select the right moment to enter the fray. That’s what Russia tries to do.

A brilliant example of preventive diplomacy was provided by Mikhail Gorbachev’s “perestroika,” which, if not removed altogether, has significantly reduced the probability of the most lethal, nuclear conflict.

If the Americans said that they would strike, sooner or later they will deliver, if only to soothe those who bemoan America’s dwindling influence over world affairs.

The sides start thinking seriously about peace only when they reach a military equilibrium.

AES - Autom​atic Electronic Shutter Camera Location In Malaysia

Previously, The Road and Transport Department (JPJ) has announced the locations of the initial 14 AES cameras, which was divided into Region A and Region B. Now the body has come up with the complete list of all 831 camera locations nationwide.

About AES Camera
Electronic technology within the camera - regulates light sensitivity and therefore the brightness of the video signal electronically by increasing or reducing the shutter speed (simplified: faster shutter = more 'snapshots per second' = more detail per second (especially fast moving objects are clearer) = but brightness is reduced. AES is the alternative and incompatible of/with an Auto Iris. An Auto Iris regulates illumination by mechanically increasing or decreasing the iris opening within the camera lens.

Cameras need to be able to measure the present scene illumination, in order to determine the overall video brightness. In modern day the most advanced and commonly used method is Auto-Iris. Auto-Iris is established through team-work of a professional CCTV CCD Camera in conjunction with a modern lens - both supporting Auto Iris function. The camera measures the light level - decides whether it needs more or less light - and then adjusts the motorised iris in the Auto Iris Lens (open further or close), via a small control cable.

Adavantage = Cost Saving. 
Disadvantage = less crisp image quality and less quality when capturing moving objects.

iPhone 5 is going to put the Galaxy S3 to shame

Evidently, everyone wants to see Apple achieving more than winning legal battles so every techie has been more than curious about what the new iPhone 5 delivers. To make things even more interesting, the CEO of Foxconn – the company responsible for manufacturing iPhone components – has previously stated that the iPhone 5 is going to put the Galaxy S3 to shame.

The iPhone 5 seems to be a great phone but it seems terribly overpriced. The S3 has a lower price-tag and still manages to deliver more features like NFC, HDMI, wireless charging capabilities, a microSD slot and a bigger screen, and all these extra features would normally increase the costs. So in other words, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is less expensive but delivers “more smartphone” than the iPhone 5.
